Need to or need+ing

Hello,

Can I say, if she changes her dorm room, she doesn't need bickring with her roommate, asking her to be quiet at night.
Or should I use the infinitive after need?

Thank you in advance.

If she changes her dorm room, she won't need to bicker with her roommate anymore,....
She will change her dorm room, so that she won't have to bicker ....

The gerund can be used in place of the passive infinitives:

The car needs washing. = The car needs to be washed.
Her hair needs combing. = He hair needs to be combed.
