Need to know a word (broke out)?

Here's the description: Transport Company X bought itself out from Company Y by buying the crane trucks. What's the word I'm looking for? I'd be grateful for help.

Hi

If the managers - and maybe other employees of a company - decide to buy part (or all) of the company, because they think they can run it better, then this is known as a Management Buyout (quite often shortened to MBO)
