Need to check the grammar of this cover letter
Dear Professor Björn OTTERSTEN,
I’m writing to apply for the PhD in Signal Processing for Wireless communications at University of Luxembourg.
I graduated in Telecommunication Engineering in 2010 from the Lebanese University. I graduated from Master in Signal Processing at Telecom Bretagne in Brest, France 2010. I am currently doing a PhD in Routing Policies for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks.
The courses I took during the theoretical part of the Master and the engineering school allowed me to expand my knowledge in the field of signal processing, electronics, and digital communication. All this knowledge has confirmed my motivation to get involved in the preparation of a thesis. Indeed, it is on the one hand to deepen some disciplines, and also to implement my ideas in the context of a thesis.
The internships that I've done in various companies were also the opportunity to discover the qualities that I consider important for a successful thesis such as team work, reliability, organisation, and enthusiasmto learn. I am sure that I will carry over the same enthusiasm and skill in doing this PhD. I know that my academic background will prove to be an effective match for your demands. Therefore, I would like to have the opportunity to develop my abilities, for which I am confident that I have the skills, knowledge and competence.
I believe with all the educational values that I possess, pursuing a PhD will add more to it and expose me more to areas where Telecommunication knowledge are relevant and in addition, put into practice what I have learnt so far.
