Need title or group of soul song probably from the 70s

This is a soul song...has lots of horns...some of the lyrics include something like "caught up a something, something, ever a changing world or love or something. then it goes, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-duh...ba ba ba...very fast and repeats, those are the horns. there are other lyrics like "daylight turns to ....something...."
