Need the perfect word for an essay

I know I seen it used before but I can't for the life of me remember what the word is. Here's the general outline of the definition. I may be trying to get a point across but instead of being direct about it I mention something along the lines of "I'm not even goin to mention George W. Bush's stupidity" or "I could talk about how stupid George Bush is but I won't", so delightfully subversivs and passive aggressive. Anyway I'me pretty sure there's a word out there for it, anyone have a clue. Thanks in advance, wasted my time with google when all I had to do was come to Usenet.
