Need some recommendation for short stories

I'm working on writing. Got a few books that teach how to write, but most of them put me to sleep. So I'm switching gear, maybe fictions will help better, but my problem is I can never finish a book......short attention span I guess. So are there any short stories that are interesting and fit my needs. Thanks a lot. Feel free to comment on my studying style, technique or even commitment or lack thereof, as long as it would help or motivate me. Thanks again.
