Grammar

Need some help.

Hello. I have some grammar exercises that I need to do and I'm having a difficulty with some parts.

-------

This one is about sentence transformation using the key word in bold.

Her spoken Italian is better than her Spanish.
- speaks

She ................... speaks Spanish.

Why don't you wear your hair in the same way as me?
- like
Why don't you ............... mine.

-----

Second, choosing the correct word:

........? Your hair is wet.

1. Has it rained? 2. Has it been raining? 3. Did it rain? 4. Does it rain.

-----

Third: rewrite the sentences putting special emphasis on the underlined word. Start with it.

They like the house because of its size rather than its location.
It .........

-------

That would be it (for now). Emotion: smile Thanks in advance. I'll post more if I come across more difficulties and I probably will.

You should probably try these yourself first. In future posts, please make an attempt to answer.

She .. speaks Spanish.
She speaks Italian better than she speaks Spanish. [Was that really so difficult?]

Why don't you wear your hair in the same way as me?

Wow, this was fast. Thanks so much, Clive. Now that I'm looking at this, some of the answers, if not all, are so stupidly obvious.

Yes, I will probably post more later.

Thanks, CJ. Yes, I could've done everything on my own, meh. As for the first one, it was tooeasy, if you get what I mean.

Here's another one; it's also transformation and the key word is promise:

"I won't tell anyone. I promise," she said.

The first thing that crosses my mind is the standard way: she promised she wouldn't tell anyone. Though I'm wondering if it's okay to say: she promised not to tell anyone.

It's OK either way. The verb promise takes either a clause with the same subject and will/would or an infinitive construction.

I promised [(that) I wou
