Need review

Hi everybody.

I'm practicing essay's writing for the TOFEL test, and I will be very grateful if anybody corrects my essay and gives feedback to improve my writing.

I'll post you exactly what I've written, so don't scare if you will find grammar or structural mistakes.

Some people prefer to eat food stands or restaurant. Other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

The habit which lead lots of people to attend stands or restaurant has increased a lot from the past decade. A lot of people made of this habit a constricted way of life: those who work in big cities and live in the suburbs, students which attend courses far from their own country, and many other class of travelling people are forced to have lunch (or even dinner) in places where they can't stay for many minutes.
This is the reason who brought those who are called "fast foods" to have greater and greater success: they grant you a "ready" meal which can let you preserve time for other things (such as attending a gym or rounding for shopping).
By my own I have to follow this same philosophy, at least at midday. I'm a student far from home (I live in MIlan and study in Genova) and I never have the time to come back home for lunching; so I have to buy sandwiches or hot dogs nearby the university. On the other hand, luckily, Univerity courses end at 5 p.m in the afternoon, so I can fins a lot of time to prepare some more elaborated foods.
This because I've always loved cooking, expecially for parents and friends.
Cooking gives me a sense of joy which few other activities (e.g playing instruments or painting) can do. Expecially I like prepare great party at my home, where invite friends and let them taste my capability in this "art".
Moreover cooking allows you to improve your relationship with your partne or friends: increasing the collaboration, making part of the same group, organizing and preparing tables and foods, these are all good situations brought by this activity.
That's way always, both at home or away, I prefer a lot prepare meals by myself.
