Essay & Composition Writing

need people check grammar errors and read it for run-on sentences and all..

hey guys this is my first post, i need help editing/checking this essay for class tomorrow. I need people to check for grammar errors, run-ons sentences, and all that stuff...the essay is about the book Into the Wild.

Into the Wild

Chris McCandless made a really bad decision going on this trip unprepared. He could survived if he packed more food, warm hiking clothing, and a good rifle. Most of Chris’ decisions were made most of the reading he made, but he seems to forgot that they were fiction.

One main reason Chris wanted to go to this trip was because of all the reading he did about hiking and living in the wild. In the book Chris talks about how book authors were important to him and how he wanted to do what they said on the books. Most of the books Chris read were fiction, not all the information was true. “He was so enthralled by these tales, however, he seems to forgot they were works of fiction.” (44). McCandless spoke frequently to the denizens of the Slabs about his plans for Alaska.

Chris went trough a lot of town, many people met him and tried to help him but he didn’t accept help from anyone. When people tried to offer him money or clothing he acted real offended and he didn’t take it. He accepted Burres’ offer to drive him to the next town, but when she tried to give him some money for helping he didn’t take it. Finally she got him to take some Swiss Army knives, a few belt knives, some long underwear and other warm clothing; when he left she found most of the stuff on the van he left there. This was a bad thing Chris did, he could survived with all the help people tried to give him, he could trade the knives and clothing for other hiking things he might need later on his trip.

When Chris packed for this trip he didn’t realized he was going to be on it for a long time not a month. The only food he had was 10 pounds of rice, and the only clothing he brought was the one he had one. “His cheap leather hiking boots were not waterproof nor well insulated.” (5). Chris needed to brought more underwear, he only has one pair and it was the one he was wearing. Chris could live longer or survived the trip if he had warm and clean clothing and enough food to ear. He thought he was going to ear leaved and wild plants on this trip; this could be one reason he died.

When you are going to a trip longer then one week you cannot depend on nature to survive, you have to bring warm and clean clothing, a good weapon to protect from wild animals, and enough food and money. And one important thing is accepting help from others that help will help you survive the trip.

ON ATTACHMENT IS A RUBRIC ON HOW THE ESSAY WILL BE GRADE ITEmotion: smile
