Hello

I too am a learner of English and find your question difficult to give a clear-cut answer. But I understand "I must go" and "I have to go" are typically used like:
(EX) I must go home now because I am very tired.
(EX) I have to go home now because my wife is waiting me.
As seen in the examples above, "I must go" is used when the necessity comes from the inside

Just my own opinion.

"must" emphasizes "there is a necessity or must of doing something"

eg:You must do it now.

"have to" emphasizes "an attitude of being not willing, but must do"

eg:But, I have to study.

"needn't" means "don't have to"

"need" implies "a requirement"

eg: I need to buy something first.before..........
