I was just listening to the British scientist Richard Dawkins, and he said " All you need know is ..."
I find most people say, "All you need to know is..."
Is omitting the "to" a British thing, or does it fall under some grammar category?
I tried to find this out in a Google search but could only find the " need to know" usage.
Thank you
