Need help writing a letter

I need to write a letter to a woman in prison who hates me. I am her boyfriends ex-wife and have custody of her two year old son. As much as I cant stand her , her son needs to see her. I want whats best for him and am willing to put aside all differences between us. The problem is she has to give permission to the prison whoevers to grant me and her son visitation. What would a proper letter state?

It sounds like a complicated situation. The child's father (your ex-husband) should see to it that his son can visit his biological mother. Let him handle all the arrangements.
