Need help wording sentence

I'm writing a birthday message to my friend and what I want to say is that I look up to her the same way I look up to the stars. What I had was "like the night sky, I look up to you" but I realized what I was saying, was that the sky also looks up to her... which isn't what I'm trying to say.

I want "I look up to you" to end the sentence but I can't figure out how to word it better. Any help? Thanks
