Need help with (was/were, is/are)

Hi there

Can someone please approve my answers below. My answers are highlighted in bold font.

Fill in the blank spaces with the correct word taken from the brackets:

  1. The five brushes in that box (is, are) mine.
  2. (Were, Was) you at the theatre last night?
  3. What would you do if you (were, was) I? (unsure here!!)
  4. What (is, are) the title of the book you mentioned.
  5. This box of instruments (were, was) onsale at fifty pence.
  6. There (is, are) some of our team.
  7. What (was, were) you doing on Saturday afternoon?
Kind regards
