Need help with this run on sentence please

Do you understand this? Could you help with it please?

1 I'm lying on the end of the bed that puts my head in the direct line of the window AC. I turn the quilt 90°horizontally so nothing would be covering my feet as there were 3 people in my bed and we all needed a bit of the quilt.

Can what do you think about this?

2 The most important part of the body to keep warm is the midriff at night.

Thanks

Why run the AC if you're already cold?

1 is okay - not great. I turn the quilt sideways, not 90 degrees horizontally.

2. Move "at night" after "to keep warm." Don't say "midriff" (is that really how you spell it?) That's what is shown when girls where pants down around their hips and short tops. Just say "your middle" or "your core."
