Need help with this grammar issues please

Hi there,

Can someone explain me this please.

The plans have suffered repeated delays” is grammatical correct.

Can I word it as “The plans have suffered repeating delays?” As“repeating” is Adj too or

"The plans have suffered from repeating delays"?

If not, can you explain me why please?

Thanks in advance
