Need Help with these sentences

Please can you help me correct these sentences if they need correction also any grammar mistakes.

I come from a large family of ten. My parents along with my siblings migrated from Pakistan in the early seventies to settle in the UK. They came from a poor family and experienced a life of poverty.

(Question regarding the above sentence. Would this sentence imply that I also migrated with my family at that time,if not, please suggest.)

Little did I know how much those words would have an impact in my life!

As I matured and experienced the responsibilities of life, my father’s words “if you fail to plan then you have planned to fail”, echoed aloud, such inspiring words which I found later to be a quote from Benjamin Franklin. These profound words influenced me to prepare and plan my future the way my father did.

When it comes to money the idiom “money talks” says it all. Money just about governs everything. Wealth has a certain level of power and influence that can create all kinds of opportunities, however at the same time it can lead you to spend it foolishly.

We live in a city mostly surrounded by bricks and mortar devoid of any real natural beauty or landscape.

One area I definitely need to focus on is my health. I’ve been deliberating on adopting a healthier lifestyle for years but just haven’t manage to convince myself that I could do it until recently.

We live in a consumer’s society that dictates what you need even if you don’t need it.

It’s easy to become submissive to consumer demands because it affects our mindset.
