Need help with these 4 sentences please

Could you please help me with this?

1 I like leaving the TV on as background image and sound/I leave the TV on for background image.
2 You're not done until I say you are.
3 These speaker aren't on at a max. You can't turn them up a little more.
4 It took me the time it took for the opening credit to end to get back from the kitchen where I had gone to get some food.
We're partners but I have a bigger share of the company. 55 to 45.

I think both work with no problem.
"For background" addresses the purpose for your doing it.
"As background" addresses the way you conceive/perceive its function
