Ok, the assignment was to be written on "The Treatment of Women" based on the stories of "A rose for emily"; "The horse dealers daughter"
; "The cask of amontillado".
I'm stuck on developing three good points based on how the author's depicted women.
Here's my introduction
In our society women are depicted as classy, and praised for there beauty. But we cannot forget that women are sometimes mis-treated. Some are viewed just as a sex symbol, some nothing but a man's servant. In the stories of ""A rose for emily"; "The horse dealers daughter"
; "The cask of amontillado", each one holds a symbolic stigma of how women are perceived in a male driven society. This goes back to the times of the Roman's; women who were related to men of authoirty. respect, and or high status were treated graciously and honorably. Why do the author's treat these characters in a secondary manner? To show one's feminint side and to display emotions which brings out realism.
How how can I build my essay on this?
