need help with sentence fragments

could you help me fix these sentence fragments? i would like to know what i need to add to make them complete sentences, and why are they fragments. 1.[while his mother, patsy, just tries to hold everything together]

2. [to which also causes a problem when all their extra money is used to care for mr baker's disabled

Use of capital letters. All sentences must begin with a capital letter, and the word "I" is always capitalised, wherever it appears. Proper names, like "Patsy", "Mr Baker" and "Daniel" also require capitals. It regularly amazes me at this forum how people can reach a reasonably advanced level of English and still somehow not be aware of these most basic rules.
