Need help with puncutation and this sentence ...

DCF began working to help Lynn and her children, and DCF knew CBC was a great fit for them. Why? Because at CBC we treat the whole family, including, many times, estranged or ex-spouses.

Are the commas in the right place?

Top answer

Yes, but I'd get rid of a few commas by rewording a little. DCF began working to help Lynn and her children, and DCF knew CBC was a great fit for them. Why?
