Letter Writing
Need help with ma new motivation letter!!
Hello people!! i have drafted a new motivation letter so can you please check that out and give me some suggestions and comments about its mistakes.
I, Venkataraman. N, 23 years of age, an Indian, Student of final year, in the process of finishing my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College -Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, am applying for the Master’s Program in Nuclear Engineering and Automotive Engineering in Sweden.
In my curriculum I have learnt the fundamentals of technical engineering. Automobile engineering and Nuclear Engineering are my main interests. I am now working on an ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE project along with a team of twenty students from my class, for an all India Inter collegiate competition – ‘SAE BAJA 2009’ as designing leader and vehicle technician. It has been an exhilarating experience so far.
As a person always looks to excel in the chosen field, I am keen to get the best education possible in the world. Which is why I am applying to your esteemed university as I learnt that yours is one of the best Universities in the world for Masters Program in Nuclear Engineering and Automobile engineering. My vision is to become one of the best in whatever I choose. I strongly believe my Masters education in Sweden will help me sharpen my knowledge, tone up my skills and realize the best in me. I am sure my education in your esteemed University will be a stepping stone in my single minded pursuit towards my goal to become the best in the world. I want to return to my country to serve my people as I believe in what Einstein said: “Every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.”
The world now, especially India goes through energy crisis. Then world’s energy needs are on the rise. It is imperative that we innovate to conserve the energy produced, innovate to spend energy judiciously and innovate to generate energy with minimum disturbance to our eco system.
I would like to pursue research after my Masters that will be again in Sweden itself. The quality of this program, time abroad, establishing relationships with others from all around the world, and the practical experience I would gain would enrich me tremendously and help me in my quest to achieve excellence.
I am self motivated and ambitious. Very jovial, yet very serious in my work I hope to demonstrate these qualities in person as a student at Chalmers. . I am sure I will make you proud of your association with me
