I would like to express my interest for attending the Bioinformatics Master’s Degree Programme at the .
I received my Master’s in Biochemistry from ****** 23.4.2002. In my Master’s thesis I studied the interactions between cyclodextrins and small molecular ligands using the AutoDock 3.0 docking software package.
After completing my Master’s I have worked as a research assistant/PhD student at the****** in the field of cellular and molecular biology of bone cells. During this work I became familiar with several sequence analysis tools, namely database searching alignment tools and primer design. I have come to realise that I want to get a deeper insight into these tools and methods and that is why I am interested in the Bioinformatics Master’s Programme.
My aim is to work in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry and I am certain that the Bioinformatics Master’s Programme will provide me with the necessary knowledge and skills to purse my career goals.
