Need help with Grammar

Hi There,

"I saw you did that" is this correct English?

If it is incorrect, can anyone explain to me why please


"I saw it was done and I saw you had done it" I guess both are correct, am I right?

No. When the two actions happen at the same time, the infinitive or the present participle is normally used after an active verb of perception (see, hear, feel etc.)
