Need help with a sentence
I need help here with a sentence that i can not figure out the meaning.. Thank you so much in advance.

Maybe its because he gets out of his car at the nearest corner for he is ashamed of his car.. anyway, thank you so much =)

The "due nicety" is rather a polite (complicated!) way of saying that he is being "nice" by not showing off his expensive car to others.
