Need help .TOEFL ibt speaking response !!!!!!
Here is my TOEFL response. Can anyone here show my my mistake or make some suggestions for a better expression in my response ?Thanks in advance.
Do you prefer to write a paper or give an oral presentation ?
There are 2 reasons why for me it's always better to write a paper than to give an oral presentation.
First of all,I am not quite an eloquent or lively speaker .
When talking before class about a particular subject , I can't help myself getting nervous
so I'm often faced with the prospect of forgetting all my point.
I remember I once got an F on my biology oral exam even when i had prepared for it quite carefully.
The second reason why I'd prefer a paper test is may be I'm not good at speaking but I'm a gifted writer .
Unlike speaking , I know how to express my idea or give an answer in my writing clearly and coherently.
Some of my paragraphs were printed (published / put ???) in the school newspaper.
So only by taking a paper test can I extend my writing skill and receive a deserving grade.
