Need help taking a look at my corrections please??

Could you please help look at my corrections please?
  • Get the chair as close to the table as possible because she can't reach out her hand hurts. OK
  • He denigrates/lowers people/reduces people to make himself feel more secure. (how would you say this?) Im not sure
  • I had a bad memeory of horsebackriding. I'm scared since I fell off. Dont know
  • This is the first and last time I'm doing this. OK
  • We have designate/designated seats with name tags in/on our plates. designated / ON
  • A lazy eye is cause because the muscle isn't as taunt as i should be. taut as it should be.
  • The capon is better overcooked than undercooked so leave it in the oven a low heat until the plates are served. not sure
  • Fries that have been cooked with/in oil are sickly tasting. BOTH IN is better
  • I can't be in too bad shape. Too bad A shape
  • He has double the average amount/2 times the average amount. BOTH
  • If he has a better hand that I pretty sure he does. which Im pretty sure he does
  • When the censors detect/feel something, the alarm goes off. dont know Detect is better
