Need help. Sentence correction.

Hi teachers,

Is it correct the whole explanation? Imean, not just the explanation, but the words I use before them.

If we search the meaning for the word 'routine' in a dictionary it says, "an activity is a routine when you do it as a normal part of your life, rather than for a special reason".

Thanks in advance
