Need help. Sentence correction.
Hi teachers,
Could you please help me with the explanation for the given sentences and tell me if they are right?
a) Flash’s houses aren’t built as well as Carter’s of course.
As well as is a comparative adverb because it compares the way Carter and Flash’s workers built houses.
b) He earns less money than an excavation driver.
Less is a comparative adverb because it compares the way Fred and an excavation driver earn money.
c) Fred works the hardest.
The hardest is a superlative adverb because it compares the way Fred and the other workers work at work.
d) But Fred earns the least.
The least is an adverb because it compares the way Fred and the other workers earn money at work.
e) He earns the most money at work.
Here the most is an adjective or and adverb?
If it is an adverb it compares the way he earns money with the rest of the workers, isn’t it?
