Need help. Question for physical feeling

Hi teachers,

This is the sentence from a reading:

The man was cold now, and very, very tired.

Which is the right question?

a) How was the man now?

b) How did the man feel now?

By the way, 'now' here means 'at that moment' or ' at this moment'?

Thanks in advance

Both of them are correct, aren't they?

They have the same meaning, don't they?

But the word 'now' still don'
