Ive never done a cover letter and would appreciate a second look! Thanks!
Dear <name>, I was excited to see your opening for a Technology Support Specialist, and I hope to be invited for an interview. Throughout my high school career I was extremely peaked and interested about technology and what I can do to better my knowledge. I volunteered as a Technology Assistant at my high school helping our I.T instructor. I learned skills that I use every day dealing with technology. I am currently an Electricians Apprentice at County Electric in Ottawa, <state>. I work alone mostly but do have to work with others. I evaluate different problems on our job site and solve, or contact someone regarding the issues. Due to my past experience with I.T and working alone I have gathered a great set of skills. As I worked with my I.T director I gained years of computer training and plenty of work experience. As an apprentice I have learned how to work alone, and work proficiently. I also can effectively communicate with my co-workers as well as my supervisors. I am confident that I can offer you the communication and problem-solving skills that you are seeking. Thank you for your time – I look forward to learning more about his opportunity! Sincerely, <name>
