Dear Stephen,

I'm writing to inform you that we were trying to do everything to get installed the gas system ( gas meter, central heating system etc ) but we could not manage to arrange the appointment because we need a landlord's writen autorization and with the email that you sent us wasn't enough. At first we contact XXXX and we printed out an application form which explains how to get installed the whole system and eventually we posted by mail but they said that it could be more than 2 months to get the first appointment. At the same time we did another research and we found that XXXX ( which is the electricity company that we're actually using ) does Gas too, so we called them and we were about to get the appointment by Tuesday but once they realized that we weren't the owners of the flat we were told that we need to have an proper written authorization to the tenants (xxxxxx,xxxxx) otherwise they are not able to carried out the visit to the flat to do the quotation. We reckon that XXXX it would be more efficient than XXXXXX besides they can make alternative choices like electricity central heating system in the same visit so we will require for this authorization letter.

If you want we can go to your office tomorrow at anytime of the day and discuss which its the best way for you and for us. As you know we want to sort this problem as soon as possible.
