Can someone help me these sentences please?


That remark is directed to me. (Is this passive?)

That remark directed to me. (active, I think so)

Which one is better English for native speaker?

The first one should be: "That remark was (the present tense is rarely used as it is in the given sentence) directed at me (by someone - this is passive voice)."


The second one should be, for example (active voice):


"That remark stung/hit me."

"That remark found its way to me."
