Need help, please

Hi everyone. I'm doing some tasks to improve my English skills and I've come a cross a couple of tasks that I find quite hard to solve.

The task given:

The sentences below all contain elements that can be said break rules of prescriptive grammar. Try to identify these elements and what the rule might be.
1. When they were younger, they used to secretly be best friends.
2. The mayor's supporters contend that none of the women have spoken publicly or filed a complaint.
3. Whose bed did you sleep in?

There is no guidebook attached to these tasks, so I'm pretty clueless although I've read through pretty much every grammar book! I believe, or so I've been told, that nr. 1 is about the placement of an adverb, 2 it is about subject verb agreement and 3 is related to word order.

Any help much appreciated!
