Need help for my Motivation letter

Dear friends, please correct my motivation letter for a master's degree programme. THANK YOU!

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing to express my interest in applying for a Master’s Degree Programme in Service Design and Engineering starting in fall 2010.

I am a student of xxx, during the past four years, I have studied Communications Engineering with specialization in Networking Technology with average grade 4.0. In the first three years of my studies, I put the main emphasis on understanding the fundamental communication and wireless technologies. In 2009, I have become a research assistant of Department of Communications and Networking, focusing on layer 2 packet switching technologies in the next generation Ethernet networks. However, I also attended lectures and seminars on diverse topics such as network security, economics and ICT service design and management. Especially, I have attended the course Telecommunications Forum three times. In this course, you can get in touch with the hot topics in telecommunications including latest technologies, market trends, hypes, product-, business- as well as technology strategies and discuss with the guest speakers who are leaders in their fields, scientists, innovators. These lectures widen my horizons, give me a better view of ICT industry and inspire me a lot. I realize that just focusing on technology field is not a good choice for me and my career; there are various innovation opportunities in the telecommunications world and related areas.

Among these topics, I found ICT based service solutions like Web service are very interesting and exciting. Integrating ICT products with service elements increases the economical and customer value, benefits companies and makes everyday life easier. Moving to ICT based service solutions is the current trend of all the industries. Thus it is my hope to learn more knowledge regarding to this area. Having this knowledge will allow me to better understand ICT based service principles.
Moreover, one of my career aspirations is to participate in the senior management of an ICT company, I believe that this Master Programme would be an excellent starting point for me and obtaining another Master's Degree will provide better background for me to anticipate and react to ever-changing environments.

Finally, I have equipped myself with both adequate background knowledge and rich experiences of study abroad during the last four years at xxx; I believe I am able to complete the study successfully. I look forward to joining this Master’s Degree Programme and waiting for a positive reply.
