Letter Writing

Need help for correcting my grammar and sentence structure in the letter

Dear Respected Sir/Madam,

My name is Yamato and I am a student of Class:5 .I am writing this letter to request the withdrawal of French from my extra-curricular subject.

Recently, it has very difficult for me to keep up with French due to pressure studies from my main course. As there are lot of things left to study in the main course, it has been very difficult for me to give some time on my extra curricular activities. So after careful considerations, I have finally decided to withdraw French from my subject list in order to focus more on my main course.

I, humbly request for your approval of withdrawing French from my subject list. Thank you for your consideration.

Yours sincerely,

Yamato
