It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a NEW Safety Director!
While safety in the workplace is no laughing matter, Stephanie Young, NEW Safety Director has big and fun ideas to make sure we are trained and engaged.
Former safety director, Jack Dawes says, “As my role expands as Facilities Manager, I know by passing the role on to Stephanie, she will do an amazing job at making sure all safety procedures and measures are in place.”
So what does a safety director do? As part of The Joint Commission (TJC) Accreditation, Stephanie will monitor all main and satellite office sites, manage all environmental risks, as well as make sure we are following the proper policies, procedures, and regulations according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA.) And of course, gear up for our upcoming site visit!
“CBC’s most valuable asset are the people. I am proud to embody the organization’s commitment to the safety of our staff and clients,” “I know training and reviewing OSHA standards can be dry and hard to swallow so I will incorporate games, competitions and of course, rewards!” says Stephanie.
TJC accreditation process is a long and narrow road but by getting everyone on board our upcoming site visit will be a breeze!
