Dear Mr.X,
I am writing with regards to the graduate opportunities that I have seen on the XYZ Careers website. There is a good fit between my interests, skills and your needs. I am currently in my final year of an M.Sc in "Information and Communication Systems Security" at the KTH University. I am interested in a software engineering position within XYZ Technology solutions upon completion of my degree in June 2009.
I have achieved the highest academic results throughout the University. I have also shown my ability to adapt to new situations through my range of work experience, notably my job experience in ABC where I worked in three EU R&D projects. Currently, I am doing my Master's thesis at ABC, and meanwhile I am one of six members on a J2EE Scrum software development team.
You will find me to be well-spoken, energetic, confident, and personable. I also have a wide breadth of experience of the type that gives you the versatility to place me in a number of contexts with confidence that the level of excellence you expect will be met.
I believe that XYZ offers the breadth of opportunities which I need to continue with my development. I am available to work from the beginning of July 2009 and look forward to hearing from you.
