Need help corrections

greetings!

i need to submit this letter, before sending would like to have your comments on grammar correction and sentence style..It will be great favor for me and high appreciation.

thanking you,

Kind regards,

Khleel Hussain,

India.

It is with great pleasure that I submit my “research interest letter" depicting my research experiences and research interests, for a Graduate program (MSc) in Toxicology at this esteemed University. Currently, I have completed a undergraduate degree in Industrial biotechnology with 78.4% aggregate, I stand 8th in my university. This program has prepared me well for the graduate education, I now wish to pursue.

I have been interested in field of research right from my school days. In high school, I attended additional biological courses that included theoretical training and practicing lab skills such as anatomizing mice, injection, and drawing blood. This experience facilitated my early interest in life sciences, and helped to lay a solid foundation for my later entry, through a national level entrance examination for pursuing my Bachelors at Bharath University – the largest and most comprehensive University in India.

I pursued my bachelor’s in Industrial Biotechnology, and my majors were: biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, ecology and even in Genetics. After close acquaintance with laboratories of our department and ongoing researches, I decided to work in the field of toxicology. This program has provided great opportunities for my growth.

During very first year, my introduction to the Toxicology field came in a Scientific Conference held , on about various toxicants, its biological effects on environment , and ongoing researches in toxicology, I was intrigued. Motivated to learn more, I attended and participated in scientific conferences, national symposiums, work shops, which further piqued my interest. And favorably had the pleasure to meet many Scientists, Professors and to affirm my intrapersonal ease on pursuing Toxicology. With growing interest in this field, I continued to learn about social aspects of toxicology, various aspects of insecticides use and abuse, toxicants in the environment and its effects on living organisms. All this has lead to aspire a research in field of Toxicology.

I have a research experience of 3 years, where I joined the research team under the leadership of renowned Microbiologist Prof.T.Prabhu, who is the Dept. head of Microbiology .under his supervision. My research projects includes on as "Biodegradation of oil slick through application P.putida in hydrophytes by rDNA TECHNOLOGY” which deals with degrading oil slick as it depletes o2 concentration. Second research on “Torulopsis candida based sensor for rapid estimation of BOD", using microbial sensors, which combine the use of immobilized microorganism (T.candida) and dissolved oxygen electrode. And further research projects on “Microbial fuel cells to generate electricity from waste water” briefly describing microbial fuel cells (anaerobic micro organisms) were set up with waste water as fuel in anaerobic condition. The set up is similar to an electrochemical cell, with waste water in anode chamber and copper sulphate solution in the cathode chamber. These researches gave me direct experience in understanding the discipline of toxicology field and allowed great opportunities

Due to my excellent academic performance, I was recommended, during my internships, to participate in a research project at Sangene Research Institute, India on “Molecular biology and rDNA technology" which boosted me in gaining deeper practical knowledge and strong laboratory skills. To satisfy my desire to undertake more creative and more meaningful researches, I switched to Global research institute, India for project work which includes research on “Bioflavonoid and the Identification of food contaminating Microbes” includes work on contamination and chemical analysis of toxics released by microbes. From these truly experiences, I decided to pursue my further studies in toixicology.

As of my research interests lie in the area of how chemical metabolism leads to formation of toxic metabolites, and studying physiological mechanisms by which these organisms tolerate environmental stress. And the biochemical mechanisms involved in the perception of and protection against oxidative stress and other toxic compounds. By defining the molecular mechanisms, it may lead develop new technologies for monitoring and remediation of oxidative stress and environmental toxicants .And favorably my r. interest is to studying the biochemical actions and metabolic pathways of toxic chemicals in aquatic animals i.e., organophosphorus agents such as pesticides , as I studied it blocks the neural transmission , leading to neuromuscular defects. And further research interest in the fate of pesticides and petroleum hydrocarbons in marine mussels and sediments. And developing Methodologies for chemical analysis in soil, plant tissue, biological materials, and water. Analysis for naturally-occurring toxins of plant origin…… laboratory research on pesticide biodegradation. With the increasing environmental deterioration, my aspire is to develop methodologies, to protect the wild life from the potential dangers by means of advanced theories and technologies. It is my belief that my scientific and academic efforts may contribute to make the flower of life blossom more beautifully Those are mere interests qualities, as I believe they are fundamental in protecting or overcoming environmental deterioration.

Two courses that piqued my interest are an interdisciplinary course: Veterinary and Wild life Toxicology, because of its exposure to general principles of terrestrial toxicology and its studies on the effects of environmental contaminants on wildlife population, and factors affecting wildlife toxicity and contaminant availability..As it deals towards balancing effects of toxicants at the expense of animal life preservation. The other course that increased my interest is: Ecological and Aquatic Toxicology, because of its connection with factors effecting toxicity on aquatic life, and its research dealing with effects on their physiological and metabolic pathways. And other course related to toxological techniques also interests me as it deals with study of various biological methods and techniques implied to determine the toxicity, interpreting its effects on environment. These are my strong interests because I believe they are critical fields, as they emphasize a deep research and preventive measures, rather than tertiary care. As this courses are relevant to my research interest. I plan to capitalize these strengths...

Of an exceptional motivation I strongly myself in academic and professional activities to carry out my objectives. A completion of this graduate degree in this esteemed university will be an excellent springboard for my future goal, of obtaining a PhD in this field

I am deeply convinced that Saskatchewan University of high reputation is the best way of concretizing my studies as it’s the right place to embark upon my academic career. As it provides graduate students with diverse array of potential research opportunities, with an outstanding curriculum. The sound research environment, advanced experimental technology and complete research facilities, as well as knowledgeable professors are what can land me onto new intellectual horizons.
