Need Help.

Hi teachers,

I know that these directions are right.

Complete these affirmative sentences in the simple past or present perfect according to the actions represented in the drawings.

Then the students have four sentences to be completed with the appropriate tense. Before each sentence, do I have to write 'Simple Past' and 'Present Perfect' or 'The Simple Past' and 'The Present Perfect'?

I mean, do I always need the article 'the' before a tense?

Thanks in advance
