Which answers were the corect ones?

Answers b, d, and a were.

Is this question and answer correct?

I'd be inclined to use the present tense, but the past is not incorrect. It depends on the circumstances.

I feel that "b, d, and a" needs some way to set off the three letters. I see many methods being used, but
