I am writing a cover letter, and I need to know if this sentence is gramatically correct. The specific part of the sentence is where I have a comma followed by 'a position'. This part isn't a comma splice is it?
"I was often the intermediary between pure life scientists, computer scientists, and mathematicians, a position where I was required to understand information originating in one area, combine it with my own ideas, and convey it to members of another discipline. "
thank you!
