Hi There,
Can you check/clarify for me; If I am understanding these meanings correctly in English.
I got it last week. (Past simple, means I bought, possessed or found it last week)
I had it last week. (Past simple, means I had something in the past)
I have had dinner. (Perfect tense, related to now. I am full)
I have got dinner. (Related to now, I have dinner with me. Is this perfect tense?)
I believe (that) I mistook. (Is this grammatical?)
I believe (that) I am mistaken. (Grammatical I believe)
Many thanks.
Aki

1. Correct.
2. Correct.
3. Correct. First two words would be contracted: I've had...
4. Correct. First two words would be contracted: I've got... (This is apparently not really present perfect. This is more like an idiom, as in: I've got it. I've got what you want. I've got what you wanted. I've got the exact same thing. Etc.)
5. This is ungrammatical.
