Need for another pronoun "which" here?

Hi. Please tell me if we can do away with another "which" at the place indicated (in italics). I think if the underlined part were part of the main clause, we would not have to put another "which," although putting it would not be incorrect.

This country has many age-old traditions, which still exist and which have a historical importance.

Yes, but I think I would rephrase it for better style (and no comma!):

This country has many age-old traditions which still exist and are of historical importance.
