Need Correction Please

Hi teachers,

Would you tell me if there are any mistakes in this paragraph?
Does the whole situation make sense?

Fred Collins is going to get a very nasty shock in a few seconds. He does not know that his wife came in the pub only a few seconds ago and is standing behind him. He is talking with a woman. They seem to have a great time. Both of them are talking and drinking beer. The situation is going to change completely as soon as Fred’s wife says something. Don’t you think so?

Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for your effort and time canadian45. I really appreciate it. I always try to write short situations for my students, but as you can see there is always something to be corrected.

You're welcome. Some of the 'corrections' were just to improve the writing, to make the sentences fewer and more efficient. But maybe your students' English level is not that high.

But you should say 'came into the' room or bar or whatever the place was.

It's true their level is not that high. But mistakes always appear.
I can say:
His wife came in (only) a few seconds ago.
But I must say:
His wife came into the pub (only) a few seconds ago.
Am I right?
