Need correction on this sentence

I had a good discussion with "Mary" and I am going to send the plan to him to get the dates filled.



I would like to know the above sentence is right or this sentence needs to be repharased. what is wrong with this sentense. Please help me

I had a successful ( sounds better than 'good') discussion with Mary and ('I' is understood) am going to send him the plan to get the dates filled. send the plan to him has been replaced with send him the plan because this is more in line with standrad English.
