Need correction of grammar

Question

Hello, I'm from Germany and I'm looking for the correct spelling of a sentence. There are several "versions" of this phrase. I am talking about the phrase "Never forget where you're coming from" - there is also the version "Never forget where you come from" and "Never forget where you're from".

Which of these is correct or the "correctest" - any other suggestions in this case.

For information: The sentence should express that you should always remember that you belong to your family.

Are the other ones also correct and can be used too? It should server as a tattoo phrase and so it needs to sound nice. My favorite would be "Never forget where you're coming from", but if it contains wrong grammar i would use the one you suggested ("Never forget where you come from").

I'm sorry to hear that, because it's not as good. Consider that "where you're coming from" can have the meaning "what (ulterior) motive you have".

— Alice keeps asking me questions like "How much do you pay for rent?", "Do you pay a lot in taxes?", "Do you make a lot of money?" I wonder why. I don't know where she's coming from.
— Maybe she's trying to find out if you're marriage material!
