It’s half past ten and it’s sunny outside. Frank is in the factory. The men there aren’t having breakfast. They are working and talking about a football match.
Now it’s around one. Frank is eating in the factory canteen. He always eats there. Most of the workers are standing in a queue. They are waiting for their lunch.

Mine, "the men there aren't having breakfast". Yours 'the men aren't having breakfast'.
I'm using 'there' because I'm talking about the men in the factory. If I wouldn't use 'there', I could have been talking about any place. At least, that's what I think.
