Need correction.

I am supposed to write 2 paragraph. 8 senteces.

Tittle "If I hadn't come to the U.S

So far I've got -

I was born in Puerto Rico. I moved to the USA when I was 10 years old. If I hadn't come to the U.S, I wouldn't have learned english. I went to school and gradually learned english. If I han't gone to school , I wouldn't have never learned english.

Does that mean you are supposed to talk only about the past? Or does that mean you are supposed to use conditional sentences which use "past forms" of verbs? Or did you teacher perhaps tell you to talk about both the real and the "unreal" past?
