Need correction - 1 question. (13)

Hi teachers,
Context:
When Peter got home, he took a shower and went straight to bed. He didn't want to think about anything; he only wanted to sleep and forget everything that happened .

I guess question 1 is correct, but how about question 2, is it also appropriate?
1) What did Peter do after he took a shower? He went straight to bed.
2) What did Petert need then? He needed to sleep and forget everything that happened.
